Opening Remarks: Hand 'N Hand Educational Event

Dear distinguished leaders and pastors,

 … It is an honor and privilege to be in the presence of Dr. Pat Robertson, a key global spiritual leader and major supporter of Israel, and his Excellency, Israeli Ambassador Daniel Ayalon, and his wife. I’m so excited to be here with all of you. I feel like I am part of your family and I welcome your love and support for Israel, my homeland. 

I was born in Nazareth, Israel...the land of our origin…and I emphasize…OUR. Why? Because it belongs to US.

Today I come to you with a message…that message being…that Israel is OUR Promised land, both for Christians and Jews.

My message to you is that WE ARE BROTHERS.

And brothers stick together. And brothers watch each other’s backs. And brothers protect one another. And brothers rely on each other. And brothers have no boundaries or conditions for love towards one another. 

Israel is being re-assembled in the land, to meet God, and I quote…“And his feet shall stand in the day upon the mount of olives which is before Jerusalem on the east…. And the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee." And this is taken from Zechariah 14:4-5.

So the problem today is that our thinking is so humanistic and ‘democratic’ that we in effect deny God his duty to fulfill his word. His word being that Israel shall stand united towards Zion. Unfortunately, many believers are more influenced by the media than by the WORD of God.

In 1898, Herzl published his manuscript, “The Jewish State”.  At that time it appeared outrageous for anyone to imagine that after 1,828 years later, a Jewish state could ever be re-established. Yet, exactly 50 years after that book was written, Israel gained its independence and a Jewish state was born.

Herzl demonstrated one thing… that when people truly and faithfully believe in something, it can and WILL become reality. We will continue to be nourished by your BELIEF in God and his people…and belief in your origin. WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU.

In Romans 15:27, Paul instructs the gentiles of the immense debt owed to Israel for the spiritual inheritance, and reminded them of their duty to help Israel in earthly matters. So there is good biblical reasons, PAST…PRESENT…and FUTURE, for your support of the State of Israel.
